TO KNOW CHRIST

AND

TO MAKE HIM KNOWN

Let us pray for those along the Gulf Coast of our state who, are even now, experiencing the impacts of Hurricane Michael.  We pray for safety, as well as the peace of Christ in the midst of the storm.  We pray for first responders who will be serving and saving lives.  We pray that God would bring comfort where there is loss.  We pray that God would bring good even out of disaster.

In addition to our prayers, we will respond in Christian charity.  We will have a special offering on Sunday for hurricane relief.  As in the past, we will assess the management of those gifts as the recovery develops.  We will send some funds directly and quickly, and we will likely use some of the funds for sending supplies and/or a work team. Checks should be made out to FUMC with “Hurricane Relief” in the memo line.  Cash gifts can be placed in an offering envelope.  You may also give here by hitting the donate button.

LIFE

GROUPS

A Life Group is a small group that meets regularly to share their walk with God together. Our campus-wide “Journey Through the Bible” is our “curriculum,” along with the “Life Journal” to record how God is speaking through his Word in our lives.  These resources provide the gateway to learning about each other and supporting each other in our personal walk with Jesus.
