Operation Love Your Neighbor is the local missions program of the Vero Beach First United Methodist Church. As a church family our mission is to know Christ and to make him known. Our Lord has called us to be His hands, His feet and His heart in loving service to members of our community, especially those who are the most vulnerable. We partner with Vero Beach Elementary, a Title 1 school and we serve over 20 organizations in Indian River County that minister to families and children who are in need.

The Youth Group is dedicated to partnering with parents to help teens develop into more devoted and mature disciples of Christ, through an intentional focus on building developmental assets and relationship building.

Stephen Ministers are trained lay persons available to provide one-on-one, high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.  They meet weekly with people experiencing such problems as these, and many more.

A Life Group is a small group that meets regularly to share their walk with God together. Our campus-wide “Journey Through the Bible” is our “curriculum,” along with the “Life Journal” to record how God is speaking through His Word in our lives.  These resources provide the gateway to learning about each other and supporting each other in our personal walk with Jesus.

The Adult Sunday School Program can be instrumental in offering both a time of Christian fellowship and a time for the study of God’s Word which promotes Christian growth and discipleship. Adult Sunday School classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 AM. Our Sunday School Program meets year round and has a place for everyone from age 2 to 102!
